During the February school holidays, explore the many facets of shapes in science with the mediation workshops held as part of the exhibition Shapes: Patterns in Art and Science!

In mathematics, immerse yourself in a world where rigour meets artistic creativity. Play, draw and explore shapes inspired by contemporary mathematical challenges. Will you be able to ask yourself the right questions, devise the best strategies and finish the game in as few moves as possible?

In biology, explore the artistic dimension of the microscopic world. Discover how micro-organisms all around us form a world structured on their microscopic scale. Observe the bacteria that share your environment, some of which are used in research today, and understand how their interactions give rise to complex and aesthetic patterns.
