On September 25, the Nuit des Musées is back. We have a full program, so join us for speed visits of our brand new Deep Fakes: Art and Its Double exhibition, live music and Open Air Cinema.

EPFL PAVILIONS Program

EXHIBITION: Deep Fakes: Art and Its Double

The exhibition Deep Fakes: Art and Its Double breaks away from the common meaning of "deepfakes" linked to manipulation and disinformation to explore the new perspectives that are opening up in the fields of art and heritage thanks to technological innovation. Artificial intelligence, advanced imaging technologies or interactive immersion allow to reinvent cultural goods, to reveal a new meaning. Thus, the exhibition brings together for the first time 21 "cultural deep fakes", replicas of treasures from Asia, Europe and the Middle East often inaccessible to the public. These installations, located in buildings A and B of EPFL Pavilions, question the notions of real and fake around which the history of art revolves.

WHAT: Guided speed visits. Ongoing from 2 pm to 10 pm
15 minutes, 3 stops to explore some of the themes of the exhibition without overloading the schedule. To satisfy the most curious, the themes change with each visit.

TIME: 2pm - 10pm
