Covid-19 information

The protection plan drawn up by EPFL Pavilions is based on the regulations instituted by the FOPH (Swiss Federal Office of Public Health), the directives of the Council of State, and the EPFL COVID-19 Operating Committee.

EPFL Pavilions makes every effort to ensure that your visit takes place in the best possible conditions. We are welcoming visitors in a space that's been adapted to the new anti-COVID-19 measures, so you can confidently book your visit with us for our current and upcoming shows.

Hand hygiene
All visitors must clean their hands regularly. Hydroalcoholic gel dispensers are available at the entrance of the buildings. We also offer the possibility to wash your hands with soap and water in our lavatories.

Masks and social distancing
Wearing a mask is mandatory on the EPFL campus, for anybody starting from 12 years of age. Upon entering a building a mask must be worn at all times, including when moving around the premises (corridors, restaurants, parking lots, elevators, toilets, etc.). Masks are available for our visitors upon entry, at the reception desk.

Respecting the 1.5-meter social distance is also mandatory for people who do not share the same household.

Cleaning
Surface cleaning is carried out regularly in the public areas of the EPFL in accordance with the needs of the School, including in all the EPFL Pavilions buildings. Rigorous cleaning is carried out at regular intervals within the exhibit spaces.

Flow management
Traceability for sanitary purposes is carried out via the SocialPass application. EPFL Pavilions does not have access to personal data.
The number of visitors simultaneously allowed in the exhibit space is limited to five (5).

Free visits
We provide the printed brochure at the check-in desk, but we strongly encourage you to access the exhibition booklet (PDF document) which you can print at home or consult it on your mobile device during your visit.

Guided tours
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we cannot currently offer any guided tours. Instead, our docents, mediators, and, on special occasions our exhibit's curator, are on-site and will gladly answer your questions to help make your visit more enjoyable.
