The event offers a guided tour in French Sign Language of the Arboreal Futures exhibition, followed by a creative workshop. Participants, aged 10 and over, are invited to design protest signs from the perspective of trees.

Blending science, art and design, Arboreal Futures is a transdisciplinary exhibition, a speculative journey exploring the future of trees and forest ecosystems indigenous to Switzerland. It features works by artists Maja Renn and Krzysztof Wronski, developed in collaboration with EPFL's Plant Ecology Research Lab (PERL).

Trees can live for more than 1,000 years, while current climate models predict climate change of just over 100 years in the future. What will happen then? The exhibition explores how living trees can be given extended possibilities for action and abilities and how organisms are able to form different shapes in response to environmental conditions.
