As part of PâKOMUZé, EPFL Pavilions invites Visions du Réel and La Lanterne Magique to a screening based on fairytales and cinéma du réel.
Imagine if Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White were old pals... They'd form an alliance to get rid of hungry predators or a murderous stepmother. And what would Jacques (the one with the magic beans) do if he had Cinderella for a charming neighbour?
What if fairy tales had a secret relationship with reality? With an animation of Snow White by La Lanterne Magique and the screening of the animated film Un conte peut en cacher un autre, an adaptation of a book by Roald Dahl, discover how these stories are linked to our reality... while being constantly reinvented, with humour and intelligence, over time and through the cinema.
